I has done it! I has defeated all of the maths! And the strain has apparently deprived me of the ability to grammar as well... which is a bit of an issue, since that's the next stage of The Epic Editing Quest (yay?). For now it is the time when I set out on my hunt for extra words, for awkward phrasing, for repetition. Unnecessary adverbs, run and hide! Cliches, come not near me! Wordy passages, prepare to be de-worded! Stay still, book--this is for your own good. I know it may seen uncomfortable at first, but you'll be better for it, I know it. Now it is time to take up the editor's pen and ruthlessly prune the overgrown foliage to reveal the clarity beneath.
Tallyho!
(as soon as I recover from the maths and remember how to grammar...)
