Finished my consistency-readthrough of Ikeisha, (answering literally hundreds of my own notes along the way), and thus, sort of, another draft! A few days ahead of schedule, actually--the plan I concocted a few weeks into summer had me finishing all the notes by about July 15th. I do still have a few notes to go back over, mainly technical details and math (*shudder*), and one last subplot that needs an extra scene or two to flesh it out, and then it'll be time to work on... yet another draft! Now that I've got the main plot and all the subplots and the details and content worked out, it's time to think about editing the writing. Because it's long, guys--and it likely will always be long, but it probably doesn't need to be as long as it is. I was still figuring things out as I wrote it, but now that I know what it's supposed to say, I can work on saying it better, and more concisely. And hopefully, hopefully get another draft by the end of summer.
...
Yeah, maybe if I say it, I can make it happen. I got this far...
Okay, one round done, case closed, now back to the beginning. Allons-y!*
